A CVC Life Change Story ...
This last spring my sister, myself, my daughters and her 3 year old son took
an early morning drive to UC Davis. My Nephew was very sick and the doctors
in Carson had no idea what was wrong. Kyle is autistic and can not tell us
what he feels. At the same time my brother-in-law's dad was dying back East
and he was struggling with responsibilities and fear. He met us at Davis the
second day and I returned home with my daughters.
When I left the hospital I didn't know if I would ever see my nephew again.
His damaged liver was failing. I had been attending CVC for a few months, so
I called and asked (leaders at) CVC to pray for our boy. After being in the
hospital for 3 weeks Kyle came home. Now he is better and being the crazy
little boy he should be. This next week we are celebrating his 4th birthday.
It is a miracle that he is here and we are so thankful for the prayers. We
had faith before, but now we have been reassured of God's ablility to
perform miracles through prayers and our family thanks everyone for praying.
Kyle is a little red-headed boy who has an attitude to match!
