How "The Purpose Driven Life" Has Changed Me ...

I am so excited about The Purpose Driven Life Series at CVC because God used this book two years ago to minister to my heart and to draw me closer to Him. Two years ago, I was lost, I knew about God, but I had not surrendered my life unto Him. My wife, (then girlfriend) gave me a copy of Rick Warren's "The Purpose Driven Life" with a note on the inside cover about how God had used the book to change her life.

I dove into the book with all of my heart and soul and God used it in a very powerful way to show me that my life had a divine purpose. Prior to reading the book, I struggled making a commitment to reading my Bible, mostly because I really struggled understanding its contents. As I read through The Purpose Driven Life, I began understanding God's word in a very powerful way ... it seemed to spring to life!

I am now experiencing a relationship with God that is real and personal, an intimacy I cannot explain. I encourage others to jump into this opportunity as it is a life changing experience. You cannot just sit back and read the book - you must experience it - step by step, day by day. And, I cannot think of a better way to do that than by joining a Life Team to experience it with others.

I pray that this "Lost" series will touch many lives as people embrace their destiny, a life driven by purpose.
