CVC History & The Future Vision

Carson Valley Christian Center launched its first worship service in February of 1998. Supported by two large churches in Southern California, a region of American Baptists in Northern California & Nevada, and a number of individuals, CVC has become a model for planting a "High Impact Church". Over 1,600 people now attend worship each weekend with hundreds more involved in a range of weekly activities. The church is located on 39 acres of land conveniently located halfway between mid-town Carson City and downtown Minden/Gardnerville.

As long as there are people who's hearts are far from God, CVC has a great future! In the coming years, we will expand our ability to reach people on the weekends by creating another space for adults to worship, and then providing completely customized worship and gathering areas for Jr. and Sr. High students. Our children's ministry will continue to enhance our ability to partner with parents to raise spiritual champions. We'll keep developing our ability to help people take their NEXT STEP in faith as they come to know Christ and grow in relationship with Him.
