Women Of God

Women of Grace Bible Study invites you to study God's Word and develop relationships with other women that will last a life time! Hello, my name is Holly Hall and I have been blessed with coordinating the Tuesday morning Bible Study. Each week we gather together to connect with God, the Bible, and each other. The women who attend are having an awesome experience!

If you would like to know more, here are some frequently asked questions that may help:

How is the Bible Study structured?
Generally we start by sharing a delicious continental breakfast before Bible Study. We then start worship promptly at 9:00am. We then dive into our in-depth Bible lesson. When applicable, you will be given descriptive historical information as well as detailed geographical maps. The women then have a discussion time that pertains to the weekly homework in small groups. Many women use cross references (other verses in the Bible which apply) during the discussion. Sharing your thoughts and ideas is completely optional. When we have DVD based Bible Studies, the discussion hour is usually before the Bible lesson section of the Bible Study.

What are Small Groups?
Each Women of Grace attendee joins a Small Group where they will remain each Tuesday (usually 10-12 women per group). After the Bible lesson, approximately one hour is spent in discussion groups. After the discussion time, there will be a few minutes for sharing answered prayers and prayer requests (if you feel comfortable doing so). We then close in prayer at 11:00. In your Small Group, you will have the opportunity to really share life together and make friends.

This is what a few ladies have to say about their own Small Group:

"I have made solid relationships from our group."
"Our Small Group is very connected. We care very deeply for each other"

"I enjoy connecting with the women. I feel like they are friends and confidantes."

Will I feel comfortable?
Women of all ages and backgrounds attend our study. You will also experience friendships that will last a lifetime! Matthew 25:35-40 says, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in

... I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." We want to care for you and serve you! We will provide you with a comfortable place to experience fellowship with other believers and Bible Study so you can grow deeper and more intimate in your relationship with Christ.

Will the Bible Study meet my Spiritual Needs?
Whether you're a new believer or a mature Christian, your hunger for gaining more knowledge of the Word will be satisfied through our study. You will learn the basics behind Christianity while gaining historical knowledge, geographical information and retaining a solid understanding of scripture through cross-referencing and discussing the meaning behind scripture.

This is what two women have said regarding the Bible Study:

The Women of Grace Bible Study has given me the desire to come back and learn more about God and His Word ... it has given me more love, patience and understanding for my family by reading the Bible more ..."
"Although studying the Bible is not new to me, this study has been helpful in strengthening my walk with God."

What do the Women of Grace believe?
We believe "All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2Timothy 3:16-17 We believe in the importance of reading the Bible on a regular basis! Psalm 119:11 says, "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you."

And, we want to provide a comfortable place to learn about Christ for those women who haven't made a commitment to our Lord. 2Peter 3:9 says, "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."
